Alfred R Watkins

Alfred R. Watkins, son of the late Joe and Annie Watkins was born on April 12th, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He Departed this life and received heavenly wings on Sunday, December 20th, 2020. He was 91 years old and the oldest child of there which preceded him. Alfred R Watkins Served in the Army after graduating from high school and then began employment at the Philadelphia Sanitation Department where he worked there for 20 years before going to work for the district council 33 for 10 years. After retiring he began working for Global Abstract Law Firm doing odd jobs, Chauffeuring employees there and light maintenance . He enjoyed helping others and took his job seriously. Mr. Alfred leaves a legacy of love to those who will cherish his memory, Bernie White Preceded him in death): daughters; Brenda White, Terri White, grandchildren; Joseph White, Jalen White, Haneef White and Nephew; Sherman Suber (Bucky), and a host of cousins and neighbors (especially his neighbor for years, Mrs. Betty McClenton), and very dear friends. His siblings; Lester, Percy and Beatrice Watkins Preceded him in death.
