Obituary
ANTHONY TYRONE MOSES was born on February 7, 1963 in Dillion, South Carolina to Annie E. Moses and Gardie Moses. He departed this life on Saturday, June 29, 2024.
Anthony was compassionate and beloved by many. He received his education from the School District of Philadelphia. He was employed by the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for the past 36 years. He was a supportive partner, devoted father and benevolent brother and friend. He will be sincerely missed by his co-workers, patients and parents alike.
He would light up every room he entered. His large personality was unforgettable. Forever cracking a joke or making someone smile with his sense of humor and usual friendly banter. He loved riding his bike, swimming, singing, and dancing. A longtime supporter of Philadelphia sport teams, he was devoted fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. He also loved watching wrestling, action and western films. He was profoundly kind-hearted and hard working. When someone was in need, he never hesitated to assist.
Anthony leaves to mourn and treasure their rich memories: his mother Annie, his wife Laurann Redmon, his daughter Shanise Redmon, his two sisters: Barbara and Mary, his four nephews: Lamar, Juan, Ahmir and Anton, two sisters in law: Gladys and Gloria Redmon and one brother in law Walter Thornton, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
