Anthony White Sr.

March 20, 1963 — August 27, 2024

Philadelphia

Anthony White Sr. was born to Dorothy and Jerome P. White, on March 20, 1963, both of whom preceded him in death. He was the baby of 8 children. He was affectionately called "Whitey" by some, and "Tony", by others.

Tony was educated in the Philadelphia School System. He attended McDaniel Elementary School, Vare Middle School, and Bok Vocational High School.

In the mid eighties, Tony met Robbin and they became the love of each others lives. They subsequently married and raised 4 beautiful children together. He was very family oriented, and loved and adored his children and grand children. He spent countless years creating memories. He lived his life as the song writer wrote: "If I can help somebody,my living will not have been in vain."

Tony was employed for years at the Hospital of the University of Penna. with his mom. He also worked at the Phila. Naval Shipyard with his dad. Upon the closing of the Naval yard, Tony became self-employed. He turned his hobby of renovation and remodeling into his career for the last 30 years.

Tony had a fondness for cooking as hed received professional culinary training in his earlier years. Chef Tony prepared huge feasts every holiday, utilizing the stove and oven in winter, and transforming into our grill master in summer months. He loved to throw family get togethers where everyone got to enjoy his skills!

Tony really enjoyed fashion. Boyds was his favorite place for shoes and accessories, but his clothing was always "tailor made" allowing him to always step out in style.

Tony had 4 siblings who preceded him in death: Jerome P. White Jr, James Kent, Michelle White Stevens, and Joyce White.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife Robbin, sons Dantee, and Anthony Jr., daughters Tylar and Taylor, grandchildren Sonia, and Sofia, Godsons Pete and Mike, one daughter-in-law, Damaris, one daughter-in-law (in training) Talisa, one son-in-law (in training) Jeffet, three siblings, Dorothy, John, and Sharon, one adopted sister, Mickey, one aunt, Dorothy, five sisters-in-law, Valerie, Karen, Roxanne, Regina, and Mary, three brothers in law, Rydell, Cornell, and Johnny, neices, Cheryl, Lisa, Angela, Felicia, Joy, Tiffany, Kia, Jymeri, Rasheeda, Ronetta, and Karina, nephews, Jason, Darryl, Duane, John Jr., Jerome III, Malcolm, James, and Rydell, and a host of other family members and friends.
