On November 16, 1943 at Philadelphia General Hospital, Arlene Brewer entered the world to the proud parent of the late Robert and Geneva Brewer (Greggs). With an infectious smile and laugh Arlene was known to many as a women of strong determination, blessed with many talents. Educated in the Philadelphia School system and graduate of Edward Bok Vocational Technical High School, Arlene excelled in academics. With the encouragement of her grandmother, Maude Dickerson, who she affectionately called "Grandma baby" , Arlene entered the cosmetology industry and from there launched a career as a certified beauty technician and teacher.
Arlene leaves carry out her legacy and cherish her memory her son, Fyiheem Still; her grandson Tracey Todd Blackwell Jr., her great-grandson. Ratesh Blackwell; her sister, Conchetta Brewer,; her brothers Howard Taylor, Lionel Cook, Allen Cook, Michael Cook,; her "sister cousin", Francine Henry, and a Host of Niece, Nephews and cousins.
