Aveida Ali George was born on September 28, 1996 to Abveda George and Tyrina Fulcher. Aveida was affectionately known as Vat-Vat or Lil Vada. Vat-Vat had a smile that would light up a room. That one side always seems to rise higher, which made him even that more handsome. He was shy, caring and a wonderful young man. Vat-Vat loved to eat. His favorite cereal was Fruity Pebbles.
Aveida was educated in both parochial and Public School systems. He graduated from South Philadelphia High School in 2015. After graduating, he held a multitude of jobs and loved to work because he loved money. He was competitive and hated to lose at basketball and loved playing NBA2K.His favorite teams were the Eagles and the L.A. Lakers.
Vat-Vat was diagnosed with Sickle cell-Anemia at age one. He had multiple hospitalizations but always had a smile on his face. He was often admitted due to the pain, but you could always find him with a smile. Vat-Vat spent a lot of years at CHOP due to his illness. So many holidays were celebrated at CHOP. His grandmother and father would bring holiday decorations and food to help lighten his time there. The pain at times was unbearable, excruciating, but he fought and fought.
Less than a year ago, Vat-Vat lost his grandfather, Bill. They had a special bond and were inseparable. Now, they are reunited in heaven.
On Friday, September 17, 2021, Vat-Vat was taken from us tragically and suddenly. We miss him terribly and our hearts are broken. The Lord accepted him into eternal rest at 10:40 pm.
