Brenda Ann Nixon was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Leroy Nixon and Betty Jackson. She was the eldest of two children.
Brenda received her formal education in the Philadelphia Public School System. She met and had a long-time relationship with Isaiah (Bonnie) Bowser, which produced two daughters - Jawana Nixon and Justine Bowser.
Brenda began her career at Septa in 1986 and remained for over 25 years as a bus/trolley Driver and Subway Cashier.
She also leaves a legacy of love to: her granddaughters, Shytise (Shy) Bowser, and Michelle Bowser; two grandsons, Ernest John (EJ) Bowser and Michael Bowser; five great-grandchildren, Quadres Bowser, Londyn Faulk, Shytise Bowser, D'mari Jones, Eric Bowser: and one great-great- grandchild, Naayhani Brown ; her aunt, Letha Devero; her uncle, Marvin Devero; Six cousins, Ellis Devero, Richard (Sonny) Hampton, Michael Brown, Valerie Barr, Joyce Hill, and Linda Jackson ; two nieces, Qiana Montgomery and Cierra Shaw; one great nephew, Mark Montgomery and a host if other relatives and friends.
