Brian Lee Faulkner Sr.

Brian Lee Faulkner Sr. was born on August 16, 1969 to Valarie Faulkner in Norfolk Virginia. In his his early life he resided in the home with his late grandparents Mollie and Russell Mitchell. It wasn't until the age of four when he was reunited with his mother in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.

Educated in the Philadelphia Public School System, Brian graduated from Edward W. Bok Technical High School in 1987.

Shortly after, in 1990, he became a father at the age of 21. Growing up he was always very helpful and never minded working hard. This didn't change much as an adult either. Brian worked several jobs until finally gaining employment with Iron Mountain where he worked for over 23 years until his passing. As an employee he would never call out of work unless it was absolutely necessary. As he would always say "I gotta make that money".

Throughout the years Brian relocated from Philadelphia to Chester, and eventually to Delaware. He was the most loving, caring and humble man with a smile that could light up a room. Brian loved to cook and his favorite pastime was the "Grill Master" at his family's functions. He loved being surrounded by his family and spending time with his grandchildren.

Brian was preceded in death by his mother Valerie Faulkner and the only father he ever knew, James Stokes.

He leaves to cherish his memories one son, Brian II; two daughters, Porche' and Sharronda; one stepson, Deandre; five grandsons, Brian III, Zayir, Kennedy, Samuel and Kodi, two granddaughters Savayah and Sky, only sister, Claudette; his cousin and best friend, Oliver; two aunts, Lorraine and Marilyn and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and some amazing friends.
