Catherine Marie Folk

Our Beloved Catherine was called home to glory on Tuesday February 23, 2021. Catherine was born to Jesse and Marionette Underwood, Who both proceeded her in death. her brother Alex, Wife Kirsten and Sons reside in California. She and cherished each sibling . Catherine married Leroy Folk and from this union daughter Pam Folk was born, both proceeded her in death. Catherine later would meet William Campbell and out of this union Paula Moore was Born. William Campbell proceeded her in death. Catherine was Petite woman in stature, gracious, elegant but strong, fearless, and loving in her demeanor. Catherine attended the Philadelphia public school system and graduated high school from Simon Gratz. Catherine in her early years trained and worked in welding. She later attended Antioch College and received a degree in early childhood. Catherine enjoyed bowling and was a member of the City of Philadelphia league. She loved beautiful and unique clothing and loved to shop for such items with her sisters Bernice and Lois. She enjoyed traveling and was thrilled to attend her nieces wedding in Paris, France. After retiring she enjoyed attending church as a member of Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church And enjoyed Pastor Waller's Sermons. Catherine Catherine loved spending time with family, taking short trips with her daughter Paula and Ed, granddaughter Safiya and great grandchildren Tyrone and Mikayla. She leaves many, many more memories to be cherished, traveling to visit with her brother in San Francisco, was also a special treat. She leaves to mourn: one brother Alex (Kirsten Underwood); two sisters, Bernice and Lois; daughter Paula Moore; Edward Flippen; granddaughter, Safiya Peterson; great grandchildren Tyrone and Mikayla; John Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many more who loved her dearly. We, not only celebrate her life, but we celebrate her death because we know with complete certainty that she is at peace with our Lord and Savior.
