Coleman Livingston Brown Jr. was Born October 12,1956 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Coleman and Elizabeth Brown (Liz). Coleman, known to most as Coby, was educated in the Philadelphia public School system and later obtained his GED and Participated in a Job Corps program focused on Carpentry. Coleman was a hard-working and committed to providing for his family. Most notably, was his 25 year long career at SEPTA as an environmental service worker. His entrepreneurial Spirit encourged him to utilize his training and skillset to establish his own carpet cleaning business operating through-out the entire tri-state area for several years until his retirement.
He Was Preceded in death by one sibling, Diane Stevenson. He Leaves behind to cherish his memory, his life partner Kathy; son William; Daughters Shacoby (Darnell), Sheila (Mike), LaToya, and Shanell (Ray); brothers Jimmy and John (Doreen): Sister Felisa (Douglas), Belinda, Pamela (Kevin), Loretta (Anthony), Robyn; 17 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, his church family, and a host of family members, friends and special cousins Harold Strand, Brenda Wiley,Clarkie Mae Bryant, and Cathy Jackson: close friends Lamont Harmon, Frank Anderson, Leroy Davis, and Terry Becker; and the mothers of his children Dorothy Dye and Elizabeth Brant-Flowers
