Daryll Jones

Daryll Leslie Douglas Jones was born on May 21, 1948, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the eldest of four children of the late Violet Jones. He graduated from South Philadelphia High school and entered the U.S. Army where he received his GED. While in the army, he was an avid track runner. He ran track all over the USA during this time. During this time, he met Maxine Francis at the Penn Relays. They fell in love and married in 1970 at st. Luke's Episcopal Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. their union was blessed with two children; Daryll Leslie Douglas Jones, Jr. and Mark Hayward Francis. He Leaves behind his long term Companion Priscilla, his three sons Daryll, Mark and Jason, Grandchildren Khalil, Hiro, Jordin, Lylah and Sariah, sister Celeste, brothers Garry and Greg, sister in law Darlene, Nieces Tiffany, Sati, and Brianna, Nephews Joel, Garry, Greg, and Brandon, and lifelong friends Cheryl, Raymond, Tia and Bob
