Very quietly and peacefully on Friday February 3, 2012 Denean Antwynette Thomas died in her parents arms. After battling with an inoperable brain tumor, she passed gently into the arms of Jesus.
Denean was born on August 9, 2005 to Darnell Thomas and LaTitia Johnson in Philadelphia, Pa. She is the last piece of their puzzle, the answer to their prayers, and they waited for her birth with joyul expectation.
Denean, known to many as Nee -Nee attended Mastery Charter School Hardy Williams Campus. Nee-Nee was also a Daisy Girl Scout for troop 9312. She was a member of the Church of Christian Compassion where she was loved by all.
During her 61/2 years here on Earth, she touched many lives. Nee-Nee loved everybody and everybody loved her. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile. Denean loved dressing up like the princess she was. getting her hair and nails done, playing with her dolls, and spending time with her parents, grandparents, siblings, and aunts.
Denean was greeted at Heaven's Gate by her Grandfather, Leon Holmes and her two uncles Luther (Pooh Bear) and Keith.
''Princess, please know that one of our greatest blessings was having you." Heaven's gain was our loss when our Angel was called by our Lord.
Nee-Nee leaves to cherish her memory: her parents, Darnell Thomas and LaTitia Johnson, five sisters, Danisha, Dashauna, Denise, Deanna and LaMira, four brothers, Shamar, LaTeaf, Darnell Jr. and Darnell Hutt: Grandparents, Luther and Jacqueline Johnson, Denise Holmes, and Richard Adkins, ten aunts, one uncle, one great-grandmother, WillieMae Thomas, four great aunts, one great Uncle: one niece, Kristina: many cousins, other relatives and special friends
