On Sunday, August 29, 2021, Almighty God in His infinite grace, mercy and wisdom gently called our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Niece, Aunt, Cousin and Friend home to be with him.
Dina Stringfield-Tinsley, the loving daughter of the Late Delores Stringfield, was born on June 22, 1956. She was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System, graduating from South Philadelphia High School. She was raised in South Philadelphia and as an adult, Dina lived in the Frankford section of the city.
Dina was a faithful employee of the Internal Revenue Service for many years.
Dina loved the Lord. Her early Christian education came from her attendance at the Mt. Enon Baptist Church Sunday School. She later became a member under the leadership of Reverend Edmund T. Sherrill, who baptized her on August 15, 2007. She was faithful to Mt. Enon and especially enjoyed attending a afternoon services to hear Pastor Sherrill deliver the word. Dina had a love for cooking Sunday dinners and is famously known for her delicious Banana Pudding. she also enjoyed spending time with her grand and great-great grand children.
Dina leaves to cherish fond memories 2 daughters, Nakia Perry and Jeaneen Diaby; 1 son, Hilliard Rogers,111; 5 grandchildren, Kiara, Iyonah, Waynesha, Deona and Rhylee; 3 greatgrand children, Jaidyn, Aalir and Nori; 1 brother, Craig Augustus Moore; 3 aunts and 2 uncles, Lorraine Williams, Barbara Brown (willie), and Marvin Stringfield (Corretta0 and a host of of cousins, other relatives and friends.
