Doris Barksdale- Matthews

Doris Barksdale- Matthews was born on March 3rd, 1959 to the late Tommie Barksdale and Marie Barksdale (Wilson). Doris passed away peacefully on Monday, December 10th, 2018. Doris had a impeccable memory. She could recall everyone's age and birthdate to perfection. She was predeceased by her parents, her siblings; mabel, Herbert Jr., Calvin, and Kenneth. She is survived by sister Barbara (Eugene), Darlene, Denise (Angelo), and Michele; brother Thoma, and brother in law Lucius Shaird, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Doris was truly loved by all who knew her. We will miss her warm smile. We long for the time when we will embrace her again on that great day that God has promised.
