Ebony Latrice Jones was a loving fun mother who did everything for her children. She was born on February 23, 1980, in Philadelphia, PA to Pamela Jones-Siler and Duke. Ebony was the oldest of six children. Ebony received her education in the Philadelphia school system. During her high school years Ebony became teen parent forced to raise her sons. Ebony was an outgoing person who opened her doors to everyone. Ebony believed that family was not just those that you were related to by blood, but those that you connected to and loved the most by heart.
Ebony worked various jobs but took more pride in being there for her children. Ebony was a stay-at-home mom who loved to cook, dance and party with her children. Ebony had a special bond with her children. They loved spending time with her, especially eating her food. She was one of the family members to call when you didn’t have a babysitter. All the cousin and friends dropped their kids off. Ebony wouldn’t ever say no because all the kids loved to visit and spend the night with the Ebony bunch. Ebony was also, a great dancer and the life of the party. When she would go out and her favorite music started playing Ebony would take over the dance floor. Ebony also, loved to take pictures and enjoying herself daily. Raising ten children wasn’t easy all she could do is keep herself busy. Although Ebony struggled all her life because of some of the choices she made, she made the best of it by hiding the worst times from her family.
Ebony is preceded in death by her Grandmother Joann Weems-Jones, Grandfather Donald Jones, brother James Clyde Tucker IV, and son Rodney Andersen Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories 9 children Raekwon Jones, Isiah King, Richard King, Tatiyanna Jones, Dejah Andersen, Semaja Jones, Nasir Jones, Jamiere Jones, Taylor Jones: Mother Pamela Jones-Siler and Stepfather Keith Siler Sr. 3 Sisters Latanya Jones, Alesha Williams, Nashera Siler and brother Keith Siler Jr. 5 grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
