Edwinter Deneice “Winkie” Moore came into this life on March 12, with the most beautiful hazel eyes and glowing smile.
After Winkie graduated from Southwark Highschool in 1984 she attended Penn state University for one year. Throughout the years she worked in several different capacities from a barista at Starbucks to a legal secretary for the Department of health and human Services.
Winkie and the late Wesley Pace married and brought two beautiful children into the world, the late James Williams Pace and Ashely Nicole Pace.
Despite a breast cancer diagnosis in 2009, Winkie fought her way back from a double mastectomy and rounds of intensive chemotherapy by the grace of God. Life challenged her again with a brain cancer diagnosis in 2016 however, this battle ended in September 6, 2022.
Winkie loved people and people loved winkie. She was athletic, intelligent, great at mathematics and could dance like the best of them.
Our beloved Winkie is survived by her daughter Ashley: grandchildren Semaj, Saamir, and Nevaeh; mother Frances; Siblings Melvine, Grumpy, Geraldine, Terry and Buck; a family of nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends, neighbors and coworkers.
