A TIME TO BE BORN Evan Charles Dickerson Jr. was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 24, 1944, to the late Evans Sr. and Vera Dickerson. A TIME TO PASS After Retiring, Evan and Mary traveled back and forth to Tampa, Florida, a place he loved and would often visit his sister-in-law and other families there. he continued an active life over the past year until his illness prevented him from doing so. He transitioned over on Friday, May 10, 2019, with his wife and daughter by his bedside. He leaves to cherish his fond memories, his wife Mary whom he affectionately calls "Wifey-Poo" or "Boopy," a sister Faith Phillips, a daughter, Katrina Hill (Eric), a son, James Campbell (Kim), and an adopted son, James Rush. 6 grandchildren, Jasmine, Krystal,Candice and Eric Jr., Julius and Jade Hill "The Hilldren", 4 great children, Khloe, Kaden, Kylie and Kamari. 3 brothers-in-law, Walter, Frank (Shirley) and Daniel, # sister-in-law, Dora relatives and many devoted friends.
