Evelynne Gaines

Evelynne was the fifth child born to the late Clarence Wilbur Dorsey and Clara Matilda Cauthorn on October 19, 1942. She grew up in Philadelphia, frequently moving throughout West Philadelphia area with her family. Eve leaves to mourn her loss her husband John, daughter Rosalyn Vinson and Husband Henry; son David Gaines and wife Andrea; granddaughter Jasmine Hemans and husband Darwin, grandson David Alexander Gaines; Sister Brenda Brockington and husband Bobbie, Jill Williams and husband George, Jeanne Hayes; brother Curtis Dorsey and wife Jacqueline, Anthony Dorsey; Frank, Neal & Timothy Cauthorn and sister Mary Ann Cauthorn and a host of cousins and kin. Evelynne was preceded in deat5h by brother Williams Burr Dorsey, Dwight Downer Dorsey and John Thomas Dorsey-Bowie.
