Geraldine Mildred Copes

Geraldine Mildred Copes entered into this world on November 12, 1960 to the late James Atwater and Ruth Atwater in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Geraldine Copes affectionately known as "Gerri" grew up in South Philadelphia and received her formal education in the Philadelphia public school system. Gerri was preceded in death by her two brothers Thomas Copes, Walter Copes a sister Barbra Fuller and three grandchildren Samej Copes,Jamie Copes and Rahsir Isaacs. Gerri leaves a legacy of love to cherish her precious memory; six children James, Wydia, Lateisha, Natasha, Kaneisha, and Kevin one daughter-in-law Tanima "Tay" Williams Copes, twenty grandchildren, one brother Karl "Fly" Copes three brother-in-laws Thomas Benton, Timothy Clemons, Lamont Greer one sister-in-law Karmen Copes and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
