Gloria Jean Griffin was the youngest of five children born to Deacon James Brown Griffin and Sis Lillie Mae Ladson-Griffin. Gloria was born on February 8,1957 in Sumter, South Carolina. The Griffin family moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1963 and she began her education at Robert Reynolds Elementary School. Gloria continued her education and earned an Associate degree from Drexel University in Computers.
Gloria leaves to cherish precious memories: two sons, Omar Griffin and Malik Sharp; eleven grandchildren, Naizier Griffin, Sadiq Griffin, Zaimier Griffin, Destiny Griffin, Amara Griffin, Azaya Griffin, Asaia Griffin and London Griffin; Calik Sharp; one great-grandchildren, Izier Griffin; one sister, Reverend Deborah Griffin-Scott; one brother, Moses Griffin; four aunts, Mary Ann Griffin-Penn, Silvia Griffin-Giles, Reverend Evelyn Haynes and Pastor Thelma Lawrence; a host of Nieces, Cousins and friends.
