Ida B. Witherspoon

Ida Beulah Witherspoon was born to the late Richard and Beulah Smith on Sunday, July 22nd, 1923 in Albany Georgia, At an early age Ida moved to Philadelphia and began what would be a life time of "taking care of other," when her mother died leaving her five young children. In addition to her beloved Lawrence, Ida was preceded in death by her two sisters, Gladys of Philadelphia and Ann Brown of Detroit, Brothers, Richard, Rallo, and Thomas of Steubenville Ohio, Bobby, Richard, Jesse and John of Philadelphia, Ishma of of Atlantic City, Calvin of Richmond VA and her Grandson, Darren Smith and Great- Granddaughter of Darrita Smith. Ida leaves to cherish her memories, on brother, Alfred Smith (Marcella) of Pittsburgh Pa; Daughter in Law, Mattie E. Smith; two Grandsons Frederick R. Smith Jr. (Edith) and Kevin Johnson Sr., two Great- Granddaughters Richelle Smith and Serena Teachey, her very Special Niece Toni Smith- Gladney (John), her "Sweetie Pie" Nephew Eric Smith, Godchild, Nashell Harris and a bounty of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
