Lawrence Michael Doughty was born September 1, 1956, in Darby Pennsylvania to the late John Doughty and Dorothy Boston. He peacefully went home to be with the Lord on February 24, 2024, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Michael was educated in the Philadelphia School System He graduated from Bartram High School. Lawrence was affectionally called Mike or Michael, he admired the Dallas Cowboys and had a love for beer, football, and a good movie, and on most Sunday’s church and a good meal. Lawrence worked many jobs during his life, Security and Environmental services, but the one he loved best was being a truck driver. Early in Life Lawrence was blessed with Two Children Daughter, Dana Doughty and Son, Lawrence Michael Doughty Jr. Michael, in 1985; met and married his second wife Betty Frazier, whom he loved dearly. One son was born to this union Michael Gerald Doughty. Lawrence was the first in his family to join the Armed Forces He became a Marine and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. He had a Tattoo of an eagle on his right shoulder. Lawrence loved to go on Cruises, Trips to Connecticut Foxwoods, Las Vegas, and progressive Trips, He loved life and lived life to the fullest He loved to dress and take pictures. Lawrence was a loving man and a joy to his family, children, and grandchildren. He was a peaceful man. His children and grandchildren admired him as someone they could talk to. Some of them called him “Pop” “Pop-Pop” and “Dad”. He will always be in our hearts and missed by all. Michael was preceded in death by sister Joanne. Lawrence, (Mike) is survived by his faithful and loving wife Betty, Daughter: Dana Doughty, Sons: Lawrence Michael Doughty Jr., and Michael Gerald Doughty, Stepson: Phillip Mickens, Grandchildren: Mikir, Mikeeyah, and Kynnedy. Great Grand: Maniyah, Brothers: John (Robina), Richard(Annette), Ronald(Debbie), Mark(Melissa) and Kevin(Samanath), Sisters: Dorothy and Johnita, Sister In Laws: Pattie Quattlebaum (Lucius) and Ida Frazier and a host of Nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
