Malcolm Jones

Malcolm Garvin Jones was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 11th 1937, the late Joseph and Helen Jones. "Jonesy" as we affectionately called him educated in the Philadelphia School System. Jonesy had many different job titles throughout his lifetime. He was a jack of all trades. For over ten years he was a chef at the Grand Crystal Ball Room. He was a painter, gardener and baker. Jonesy was well know for riding his bike everywhere he went and decorating his home for every holiday, Christmas being his favorite. He loved hanging out with his brothers, only sister and nephews. he enjoyed grilling, listening to "The Oldies" and recording all the good times they shared. "Jonesy" Met and married Della in his early 20's He welcomed her three children, Lenney (Who preceded him in death), Ronald and Val as if they were his own. Later in their union, they had two children, Beverly and Dellareese aka Wee. They were married for over 55 years until she preceded him in death. Jonesy was one of ten children. Ronald, Deloris, Bruce, Frank, Edward and Arnette proceeded him in death. He was a wonderful Man, Father, Husband, Grandfather, Uncle and Friend. He lived for his three daughters up until his last breath. God saw that Malcolm was tired, so he came and took him home on Thursday, June 18th 2020. Those left to remember and Reflect on his memory: his four children, Ronald, Valire, Beverly, and Dellareese; his brothers, Joseph, Hassan and Milton; 13 grandchildren; and a host of great-grands, nieces, nephews and friends.
