Marcus Alexander Zanes

Marcus was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 18, 1998 to Mery Linda Diaz and Alejandro Sanes. He was the youngest child of their blended families. Marcus was preceded in death by his Mother Mery Linda Diaz and also his Guardian, Paternal Grandmother Blanca Iris Soto. Marcus was educated in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania school system. After graduating high school, he worked at various jobs. He was currently employed at the Dollar Tree - Philadelphia Hunting Park location. Marcus was a kind, humble, loving, giving and caring person. He had a funny sense of humor and would mimic voices to make us laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed skateboarding. Was always listening to music, and playing video games. He was also always upgrading, trading and/or fixing all of his electronic devices. Most recently he was a "papa" to his furbaby Pitbull named Juice. He took on the responsibility of raising Juice from a puppy and would spend every possible moment taking care of him, playing with him and going on long walks. Marcus was suddenly and tragically called home to our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Marcus leaves to cherish in his memories: Father Alejandro Sanes, Brothers Michael Leggaretta, and Alexander Sanes. Sister Melanie Diaz. Stepmother Pamela Chastang and Nephew Aidan Alexander Sanes, along with a host of cousins, and Families - Diaz, Soto, Sanes, Chastang, Montijo, Friends, and Co-workers.
