On Thursday January 28th, 2021 heaven gained an angel. God entered 613 Pierce Street with Love and gently carried Mary Lee Williams home to glory.
Mary Lee Williams was born November 5th, 1930 to the late Florence Braction and the late Isaac Singleton Sr. Ridgeland, South Carolina. Mary accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She was baptized in her family church in Ridgeland, South Carolina. Mary's mother Florence traveled to Philadelphia to se-up a life for them, as her grandparents Phillip and Charlotte Singleton raised her and played a major role throughout her life.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Williams Jr., her five Siblings Isaac Jr. (Shofer), Ronald, Henry, Barbara, Bernice, her sisters and brother-in-law, daughter-in-law Katie May Singleton, her grandson Whitcomb Rodgers (Man), great-grandsons Malik and Ahmed Abdullah, and uncles and aunts.
Mary leaves to cherish her loving seven chidlren George (Boobie) Singleton, Benjamin (Butch) Williams III, Vanessa Williams- Cain (Donald), Beverly Williams (Gerald), Tyrone Williams (Cindy), Gary Williams (Stephine), and Audrey Tucker (Gary) Grandchildren: George Linda, Lisa, Nicole, Shawn, Donta, Geoffrey, Qandeel, Shafeqah, Haneefah, Amik, Lenory, Malik, Tysheema, Lakiesha, Khari, Benjamin IIII, Lamar, Tykeem, Tanisha, Charlotte, Chloe, Dana, and Alexander along with a host of Great-Grandchildren, Great-Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Godchildren Geraldine, Shonda Andrew, Savannah and a Special friend, Patricia Tinsley.
