Melvin H. Simpson

Melvin Henson Simpson III the eldest son of the late Melvin Henson Simpson Jr. and Rev. Carol Simpson, nee White, was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 30, 19*79. As the first born, Melvin was the apple of his parents' eye. He brought great joy grandparents, the late Rev. Noah and Amelia White and Elder Melvin and Evelyn Simpson. When his younger brother, Patrick, was born, Melvin affectionately called "Mookie” bf his Mom, embraced him with a deep and abiding love that only grew through the years and continued until the Lord called Melvin home. Melvin's entire primary education was in Christian schools. After attending Philmont Christian Academy from Kindergarten through tenth grade, he matriculated to Hope Christian Academy where he graduated with his High school diploma. He went on to study Computer Science at Voorhees College in Denmark, South Carolina on a full scholarship. He leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life his mother Rev. Carol White Simpson, brother, Patrick H. Simpson, Sister in law, Teraine, niece Peyton and nephew - Patrick J Simpson, Uncle Mr. Andre White (Leymar) Mrs. Patricia Newton, Mrs. Gloria Garrett, Mrs. Evelyn Simpson-Curenton, Ms. Marietta Simpson, Rev. Joseph, Simpson,(Marion), Mr. Aaron Pope (Shamoya), Min. Kevin Pope (Saleeta), Mr. Jason (Gina), Rev. Glen. E. Spaulding, (Rhonda), Mrs. Patricia Bradford, beloved cousins, his mentor, Min. Rodney Talle/ and a host of loving relatives and friends.
