Michelle D. Gay

Michelle Delean Gay was born January 13, 1960 in Sumpter, South Carolina to Lillie Mae Gay and Edward Marion Gay. She had three brothers who preceded her in death, one uncle Author Thomas Gay, one aunt Mary Wilder and cousin Shawn Wilder. Michelle attended the public school system , George Washington Elementary School and South Philadelphia High School. She also attended JFK Trade School while she took up cosmetology for a short period of time. She worked for Philadelphia School System as a lunch aide and Oftentimes cleaning people homes. She loved to cook, crochet, braid hair for friends and family and oh what a dancer she was listening to her oldie was her thing. Michelle lived her life the way she wanted to live. She was the life of the party, she lived a full life most of her friends called her "Mickey D". She will be truly missed by all. She leaves to cherish her, her mother Lillie Mae Gay, father Edward Marion Gay, one daughter Latoya Maria Gay, four granddaughters Laquija, Dyima, Jayonna and Shanice, one great granddaughter on the way Zaylah, three brothers Demetrius, Fonzo and Eddie, two aunts Dorothy Johnson and Leola, two uncles Ace Gay and Micheal Wilder Jr., Jerome Wilder, Bill Wilder, Momma Sue, Auntie Dot, Ruby, two special friends Catherine Nelson Canta, Curtis her closest friend, Phyllis, Rochell and one godbrother Russell Grant and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
