Mrs. Vivian C. Jordan

Vivian C. Jordan, 80, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2023, surrounded by family.

Vivian, the youngest daughter of seven children, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Shirley Benjamin Harrison and Lula Harrison on July 18, 1943. She was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System. Vivian graduated from West Philadelphia High School in June of 1961. She was Joined in Holy Matrimony to Walter “Buck” Jordan in April of 1964. Their union was blessed with three daughters, Joy, Vivian, and April.

Vivian was an avid Philadelphia, a sports fan. She never missed a Phillies, Eagles, Sixers, or Flyer’s game. Vivian enjoys dining at various restaurants, including the Melrose Diner, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, and Pat’s Pizzeria in Delaware. She took pleasure in watching the pizzeria show Jeopardy and various soap operas.

Vivian leaves behind to cherish her memory: her devoted husband Walter “Buck”; children, Joy Jordan-Williams, and April Jordan-Davison; sons-in-laws, gilbert Williams, Richard Davison, and Allen jones Sr.: sister, Alice Harrison; brother, Charles Harrison; brother-in-law Glenn Jordan; sister-in-law Barbra Jordan; grandchildren, Allen (wife Jade) Jones, and Sydney William; great-grandchildren, Noah Jones and Maya Jones; and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

She preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Vivian; three brothers; one sister; five brother-in-laws; and four sister-in-laws.
