Opium (Samuel) Lang was the son of the late Gary Lang and Janie Ellis. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 11, 1925. He was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System. He leaves to cherish his memory: His three daughters, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, two sons-in-law, and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
