Reginald Ivan Green Sr., affectionately known as "Reggie" or "El Presidente" passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 , at age 53. Reggie was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 13, 1970. He began his education at Phil-Mont Christian Academy in Flourtown, PA and went on to attend both Penn Center Academy, Olney High School and The Community College of Philadelphia. Reggie had a successful career in the hospitality industry, most notably working working at the Ritz-Carlton-Philadelphia Hotel for almost 25 years. This Led to his newly found career as an Executive Casino Host at Harrah's Philadelphia Chester Casino. The key to his success was his innate ability to make anyone he met feel like the most important person in the room. His warm and welcoming nature ensured that he made a friend no matter where he was in the world.
Reggie was an incredible artist, commissioned to do several murals for his community in his younger years. He also loved the great outdoors and was known as the neighborhood daredevil. It was very common to find him building ramps in the driveway behind his home and practicing aerial tricks on his skateboard and BMX bike with his lifelong friends, Mike, Boo &Jay.
In 1997 Reggie met the love of his life, Andrena. Their meeting was by chance, in traffic and they've been riding together ever since. Reggie sacrificed and dedicated himself to protect, provide and profess his love to Dreen. He is and forever be her ONE. Their love and appreciation for each other was unmatched. Life without Reggie will never be the same.
In 2004, Big Tone took Reggie, Jay, Boo & Rick to Yonkers to get the greenlight to start the Philadelphia Chapter of Ruff Ryders Lifestyle. Not long after, they took the city by storm with founding members Art, Rick, Carl, Boo, & Jay. They built more than a club but a family. He gave Ruff Ryders the best of him for more than a decade. He built relationships that lasted a lifetime.
He was a Legend among his peers in the bike community worldwide, loved and respected by all. As a loving husband, father and son, he exceeded our expectation. Reggie is survived by his wife, Andrena Green; three children, Kiara Green, Reginald I. Green Jr. and Lateefa Smith; Goddaughter, Maia Grimes; parents Cathy Green Green, John Green (Michelle) and Reginald Bennett Sr.; siblings, Tanya Fuller (Dana), Andrea Adams (Victor), John Green, Reginald Bennett Bennett Jr., Andre Bennett (Shania), Tanisha Holmes, Kareem Davis & Adina Lowry; God Siblings Larry, Andre and Darlene Thompson; a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
