Renee Scruggs

Renee Rachelle Scruggs, aged 51, passed away on October 16th, 2023. She was a beloved daughter, sister, niece, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Renee was born on December 13th, 1971 in Norristown, Pennsylvania where she spent her formative years. She was educated through Norristown School District and later worked for Diamond Resorts. She spent a portion of her life in Florida where she flourished, and later returned to Pennsylvania to be close to her family.

More than anything, Renee cared deeply for her family and friends. She was always there to offer guidance, support and encourament, no matter what challenges she faced hersel. f In her free time, Renee enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, shopping, getting her nails done, going to the beach and cooking for everyone around her. Her love and care extended to all who knew her and she will be remembered for her infectious laugh and smile and being full of sunshine.

Renee was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Scruggs Sr., and her grandmother, Glady scruggs Spencer. Renee is survived by her mother, Diane Roura stepfather, Abel Roura, four siblings, Andrew Scruggs Jr., April Scruggs, Kanaya Simmons, and Sarde Brown, four children, William Scruggs, Eric Scruggs, Erica Scruggs and Brianna Pendleton, seven grandchildren, aunts, Lavon Spencer (Hugh) and Darlene Spencer-Smith (Eric) and uncle Larry Scruggs, as well as a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
