Rev Dr. Ella Butts

Ella Louise Butts was born July 28, 1933, to the late Robert L. Fullard and Eviticus “Jersey” McFadden Fullard in Sumter County, South Carolina. She departed this world on Monday, October 17, 2022, after a battle with dementia.  

Ella was educated in the Sumter County public school system. She completed her education until family circumstances forced her to drop out of school to help around the family farm. In the 1950s Ella along with her brother Robert and sister Helen migrater to Philadelphia, PA for the better life. There she met and married Sidney Butts. 

Revered Ella Butts accepted Christ as her personal savior at the young age of 14. In 1953, she continued to serve Christ at Metropolitan Baptist Church under Pastor Gates leadership. She attended the tent revival under A. A. Allen fellowship and worked in the prayer tent helping people in need. It was there that she discovered her calling to help people through Christ. 

1994, Pastor Butts attended a Missionary trip of Nairobi Kenya, Africa. Pastor Butts graduated from Gray Whetstone School of Ministries in 1999 located in New Castle, Delaware. She also attended classes in the Priesthood of Tabernacle, Book of Romans, and Galatians. Pastor Butts attended a correspondent course of the entire Bible from P.T.L. Ministries and an Evangelist course. In August 2008, Pastor Butts received an honorary doctored degree in Ministry. 

Revered Ella Butts was the Pastor and Founder of Christ Deliverance Center Church, established on September 7, 1997. She ministers heavily in the revelations of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The call on her life had been greatly appreciated by many churches, Pastors and Church leaders. 

Ella leaves behind her only living child, Joseph (Deneen). She also leaves behind her adopted niece, Spring. All preceded her in death, her husband, Sidney and children, Daisy, Stanley, alexander, David and siblings, Robert, Willie, Leroy, Helen, and Mae. Ella also leaves behind her granddaughters, Bonnie, priscilla, Jhanae, Brianna and Kayla, several great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
