Roosevelt Brooks

Roosevelt George Brooks, affectionately known as "Woo" was born on September 16th, 1940 in Plymouth, North Carolina, to the late Marcellus and Rosa Lee Brooks. Woo's parents, Marcellus and Rosa Lee Brooks, and brother Melvin Preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Abdul (Tyesha); his loving faith sisters, Diane, Lorraine, and Carolyn; and brother Henry "Buddy". He also leaves his grandson, Justin, and long- time friend Felton "Cass" Prey and Delores "Roach" Jones, many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, great- nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
