Sarah Louise Ponder

Sarah Louise, affectionately known called "Sissy" or "Sis" was born to James and Anna Belle Smith in Hopewell, Virginia on September 21st, 1919. She was the second of three children. She is preceded in death by her husband George Ponder, Jr., sister Fannie M. Griffin, and niece and nephew, Karen G. Richards and James E. Smith III. She will truly missed by step children, Patricia Manson (William Manson), and George Ponder, III, grandchildren Joi Garner and Nicole Fluker (Rodney Fluker), her brother, James E Smith Jr. (Azilee Smith), nephews and nieces, Earl Griffin Jr, Anna Griffin, Rosalind Smith, Erik Smith and Everett Smith (Khadijah Smith), great nephews and nieces, Stephanie Richards Lawrence (Anthony Lawrence), Kelli Richards, LaShena Pratt (Jeffe Pratt), Jasmin Brown (Rayvine Hadley), Cory Smith, Devyn Smith, James E. Smith IV and Elijah Smith, great grandchildren, Nya and Imani, and great-great nieces and nephews, Anniyah, Assad, Azir, and a host of other in laws, cousins relatives and devoted friends.
