Stephanie Epstein

Stephanie Regina McCormick, the eldest of nine children was born on May 2, 1953 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, to the late Evelyn and Roland McCormick. she departed this on Tuesday May 24, 2022.

   Sport, as she was affectionately called by family and friends, she was educated in the Philadelphia Public School Systems she also studied Psychology at the community College of Philadelphia. 

   On July 31, 1971 Sport married her childhood Sweetheart and the love of her life Larry David Epstein, who proceeded her in death. after the untimely death of her husband Sport, enlisted in the Army reserves, serving From 1973-1981. When her illness no longer permitted her to serve.

   everyone that knew Sport, knew what a loving and caring person she was, she took pride in caring for others, especially her siblings after the passing of her parents. she was also a devoted mother and grandmother to her only child and grandchild.

   Her long time illness was always a Challenge for her, but she always came bouncing back. She seemed to overcome every obstacle that came her way, Her daughter Courtney was always her guiding light.

  She leaves to cherish her memory, Her daughter Courtney Jackson, grandson Jaquan Mitchell whom she absolutely adored. 2 sisters Karen and Serena McCormick, 2 brothers Roland and Darryl McCormick, Her 2 Favorite aunts Valerie and Jackie Williams, 2 Best Friends Bernetta Rankins and Dianne Robinson, Brother-In-Law Robert Epstein Son-In-Law Ismail Saunders and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members
