Thelma Margaret Sherlock, born as Thelma Margaret Lindsay. She transitioned to be with the lord on April 10, 2020 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Thelma was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Celestine Lindsay and Roy Pitman on December 30, 1952. She went to high school at South Philadelphia High School and graduated in 1970. She went on to study math at Wilberforce University in Ohio. Over her years, she has worked in training programs, banks, advertising companies, consumer corporations, the Naval Air Engineering Company, and most recently, the School District of Philadelphia until her retirement in 2009. Thelma loved to play Acey-Deucy, eating turkey wings, play volleyball, was great at gymnastics, ride motorcycles, jump rope, eat crabs, skate, watch Jeopardy, teach, tutor, playing Bingo, spend time with family eating, watch You Got Served, Tyler Perry movies, dancing, all things Eddie Murphy, BBQ’s.
Thelma Sherlock is survived by her ex-spouse Eugene Sherlock III, her daughters; Khadijah Ndiaye, Constance Sherlock: Victoria Sherlock: daughter in law, Shante Sherlock, sons: Eugene Sherlock Jr. Thomas Sherlock, and son in law, Moustapha Ndiaye. Thelma also leaves behind her nephews, Clinton Andre Cooper, Cicero Coleman Jr. her brother in law Cicero Coleman: her grandchildren: Christine Lindsay: sister, Alice Coleman, and brother, Clinton Lindsay. Thelma also leaves behind a host of cousins, friends, other family members, and loved ones.
